- Published draft Certificate of Occupancy
You can request a correction to the draft CofO after it has been published. You will receive a notification from the Intake department indicating that a draft CofO has been issued, along with the number of your application.
-
Go to your Dashboard.
-
Under the 'Draft CofO Issued' section, click on 'Check details and pay.'
-
You will be redirected to the 'CofO Issuance' tab of your application. Review the draft Certificate of Occupancy carefully.
-
If you identify any errors, select 'Request DOB correction.' Provide a detailed explanation of the required corrections in the designated area, then click 'Submit.'
- Once submitted, the correction request will appear below the draft CofO for tracking and review purposes.
- You will get a notification when a reviewer has corrected the draft CofO and/or has responded.
- Go to the 'CofO Issuance' tab of your application, review the draft Certificate of Occupancy carefully. Approve the draft if you find everything correct or request a change from DOB again if you find something incorrect, then click on 'Submit.'
You will see a success message after you approve the draft CofO. Click on 'Review payment request' in the pop-up window.
Continue the process with Completing Payment.
If you find any errors or inaccuracies in the issued CofO, you can submit a new correction request. The application will remain issued while the Department of Buildings (DOB) reviews your request. If approved, the necessary corrections will be applied, and you will receive a new draft for approval. Note that you can only submit a new correction request after the previous one has been addressed.

Go to the Applications page.

- You will receive a notification once an Intake reviewer has corrected the draft CofO and/or responded to your request.
- Click on the notification or the 'Check details and pay' button on your Dashboard.
